As part of the Sustainable Technological Adaptation Project (SETAP), this week children are invited on an inspiring journey into the magical world of the renowned painter Henri Rousseau.
Led by Dr. Filiz Piyale Onat from Yeditepe University’s Department of Plastic Arts and Painting, and with the participation of students from the Yeditepe University E-Commerce Department, the special workshop titled “Into the Forest with Rousseau” will offer children a colorful exploration where art meets imagination. Inspired by Rousseau’s jungle and wild animal-themed works, children will be introduced to naïve art, explore the connection between reality and imagination, and reflect their own dream forests onto canvas.
This workshop aims to support not only children’s artistic skills, but also their abilities in observation, original thinking, and creative expression.
We are excited to come together with children who learn, imagine, and create through art, and to share an enjoyable workshop experience.
