Therapeutic Clown Workshop for Digital Balance Completed

The “Therapeutic Clown Workshop for Digital Balance,” organized by the Sustainable Technological Adaptation Project (SETAP), carried out in collaboration between Yeditepe University E-Commerce Department and Ataşehir Municipality, has been successfully completed.

The workshop, held in cooperation with the Yarenlik Yolu Platform, was conducted by Specialist Psychotherapist Refika Yazgaç and completed interactively with the active participation of children.

Within the scope of the workshop, it was aimed for children to:

  • Express their emotions freely,
  • Develop skills in making mistakes and self-acceptance,
  • Engage in face-to-face communication instead of screen-based interaction,
  • Strengthen their social bonds through play.

Through therapeutic clown practices, children were supported in distancing themselves from the pressures created by the digital world, staying present in the moment, and enhancing their creative thinking skills.
