Earthquake Handbook Study (Deprem El Kitapçığı)

Our earthquake handbook study work has come to an end. Among these studies, we first met with our department head, Altan Kar, and evaluated what should be in an earthquake handbook study, what could happen, what kind of differences we could make as electronic commerce and management students, and we examined the sample booklets around the world. Afterwards, we divided the work into several parts for the elderly, disabled individuals, children and families and started researches. By presenting the content we collected to the YUDAK President and vice president, we enriched it by making certain changes in the content. Finally, we created our content completely and turned it into an infographic and started to present it to Altan Kar, our department head during the term. We evaluated the revisions after the presentations and designed an interface that is similar to the latest HES application but more comprehensive, and we completely created the contents of the earthquake handbook study.

Therapeutic Clown Training (Teröpatik Palyaço Eğitimi)
The Therapeutic Clown Education project organized workshops for earthquake victims as a result of the 3-day training, in which Yeditepe students voluntarily participated.

Volunteer Donation and Exchange Site (Gönüllü Bağış ve Takas Sitesi)

As the E-Commerce and Management Department, we have established an online site where the Yeditepe University community can make voluntary donations and exchanges among themselves.
As the first activity of YU-Donation and Exchange Site, “My Diary, My Dreams!” We are organizing a CAMPAIGN called.
We designed the campaign as a Social Responsibility Project of the E-Commerce Department to give a notebook and erasable & ballpoint pens for the children aged 7-14 to keep a diary with whom we are in contact within the scope of the Earthquake Support and Kindness Project (DDIP) carried out during the 2023 Spring Term.
We believe that together, we can heal the wounds caused by the earthquake together. In the project we carried out (YU-DDIP), we witnessed very closely how important it is to provide moral and motivational support to children, who are our future, and to make them feel that we are with them.
You can also participate in our campaign by donating a “daily notebook” and “erasable & ballpoint pen”, where our children can express themselves and write their hopes and dreams for the future! Let’s not forget that one small step can make a big difference in a child’s life!
NOTE: You can deliver your donations to Law Building, Floor:5, Room:550 until Friday, June 9th.
Thank you in advance for your participation in our campaign. Yeditepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of E-Commerce and Management

Seminars and Workshops

Turkey’s earthquake on February 6, 2023 turned our country into a mournful disaster. In these difficult times, many projects have been implemented to be with our people and meet their needs. Yeditepe University Earthquake Support and Well-being Project (DDIP) is one of these projects.
DDIP runs four different projects to meet the needs of people affected by the earthquake: Seminars and Workshops, Therapeutic Clown Training, Volunteer Donation Clearing House and Earthquake Handbook Study.
Providing psychological support to earthquake victims through various online workshops in the company of experts is among the important projects of DDIP. This project, which aims to increase the morale and motivation of children affected by the earthquake, and reduce their stress and anxiety, is carried out through seminars and workshops led by Yeditepe University and experts.
