In this training, our wise friends will receive the training of Yapı Kredi Mobile Application. Yapı Kredi mobile application is very important for individuals over age of 65. The reason for this is that banking transactions can be faster and easier through mobile application.

Yapı Kredi mobile application allows our Bilge Yaren to check their account balances. They can track their credit card expenditures, make bill payments. They can perform money transfer and EFT transactions, and even make investment transactions.

Content of Yapı Kredi Mobile Application Training

Easy access: Accessing bank accounts and performing transactions through the mobile application is easier and faster for older individuals. Therefore, it enables them to perform bank transactions more frequently and more efficiently.

Secure transactions: Yapı Kredi mobile application protects users’ accounts by offering various security features. For example, it protects your personal and financial information using encryption technology. It also offers security measures to protect users’ accounts when they lose or steal their device.

Bill payment and money transfer transactions: Bill payments and money transfer transactions can be performed easily via the mobile application. For this reason, elderly individuals do not need to go to a bank branch to make these transactions

Credit card transactions: Yapı Kredi mobile application allows users to track their credit card transactions and make payments. This makes it easier for older individuals to track their credit card debts and make their payments on time.

Investment transactions: Through the mobile application, users can monitor their investment accounts and trade stocks. Therefore, it becomes easier for older individuals to control and manage their investment portfolios.

Purpose of Education

The purpose of Yapı Kredi Mobile Application Training for individuals over the age of 65 is to help people in this age group perform their banking transactions more easily, quickly and securely. Using the mobile application, they can easily access their accounts, monitor their accounts, transfer money and quickly perform many transactions such as bill payments.

In addition, the training provides comprehensive training to older individuals on the use of the mobile application, enabling them to perform their financial transactions more independently. This training also helps older individuals to manage their banking transactions more effectively by fully understanding the benefits of the mobile application.

YU-Earthquake Support and Welfare Project work has been completed!

During the spring term of 2023, the Earthquake Support and Welfare Project, which was carried out by the E-Commerce department for the earthquake zone, was completed. The e-Exhibition and Certificate Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 7, between 15:00 – 17:00 in the Green Hall of the Rectorate Building.

Dear Yeditepe University Family,

The recent earthquakes that have occurred in our country have deeply saddened many families and turned their lives upside down. Especially our children have become even more vulnerable during this challenging period. In order to make a positive impact on their lives and bring hope to their future, Yeditepe University has decided to launch a relief campaign.

As part of this campaign, our goal is to provide book donations for the children of earthquake victims. These books will contribute to the children’s mental and emotional development, empower them, and help them look to the future with hope. We kindly request that you donate your books to assist the children of earthquake victims.

With the book donations you make, we aim to instill a reading habit in children, enhance their imagination, and provide them with access to the world of knowledge. With our belief in the power of education, we strive to contribute to the uninterrupted education of the children affected by the earthquakes.

To accept your contributions, we have established a collection point at the Yeditepe University Main Campus Library. We invite anyone who wants to donate books to visit this collection point. Our dedicated staff at the collection point will carefully record your books and make the necessary arrangements to deliver them to the children of earthquake victims.

Social Responsibility Project of the Digital Literacy, E-Commerce, and Management Department for 65+ Age Group: 4th Stage Graduation Ceremony

With the widespread use of digital technologies, digital literacy skills have become an essential requirement for all individuals.

Yeditepe University and Yarenlik Platform, in collaboration with Ataşehir Municipality, have initiated the IV. phase of the “E-Adaptation” project, aiming to promote digital literacy among citizens aged 65 and above.

Within the scope of the E-Adaptation project, which will take place between March 13 and June 3, training sessions are provided on the secure use of digital platforms, online banking, online shopping, e-government services, and internet usage.

The graduation ceremony for the project will be held on June 3, 2023, at Yeditepe University. We invite all participants to this special event!

On May 30, ’23, we have completed our training on E-Government, Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS), and E-Nabız Mobile Application. We will continue our training sessions as part of the 65+ Digital Literacy Project in the upcoming period

Elderly individuals aged 65 and above can conveniently carry out their procedures from the comfort of their homes by utilizing applications such as E-Government (E-Devlet), Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS), and E-Nabız. This grants them access to services without the need for lengthy journeys or waiting in queues. Particularly considering the health conditions of elderly individuals, the use of these applications at home provides significant convenience. These applications enable easy and fast access to government services, healthcare appointments, and personal health information. Individuals aged 65 and above can schedule appointments without long waiting times, check their health records, and swiftly complete government transactions, resulting in time and effort savings.

Content of E-Government, MHRS, and E-Nabız Mobile Application Training

E-Government: E-Government is a platform that provides electronic access to government services. Individuals aged 65 and above can easily perform various transactions through E-Government. For instance, they can track retirement procedures, apply for healthcare services, and access salary information. Additionally, they can conduct official transactions such as tax procedures and land registry through E-Government.

MHRS (Central Physician Appointment System): MHRS is an application that facilitates access to healthcare services. Individuals aged 65 and above can easily schedule doctor appointments through MHRS. They do not need to wait for extended periods to secure appointments and can easily schedule appointments with their desired doctors at their preferred healthcare facilities. Furthermore, they can track their prescriptions through MHRS and obtain their medications from pharmacies.

E-Nabız: E-Nabız is a system that makes personal health information electronically accessible. Individuals aged 65 and above can track their health information through E-Nabız. For example, they can easily access various health data such as allergy information, chronic illness records, conducted tests, and prescriptions. Moreover, they can communicate with their doctors and exchange information regarding their health conditions.

Objective of the Training

In addition to providing basic information about internet technologies and mobile devices, the training teaches participants how to navigate the interfaces of these applications, carry out transactions, and prioritize security. This training ensures that users effectively and correctly utilize the applications. It informs individuals aged 65 and above about the services offered by these applications. They gain awareness regarding the operations that can be performed through E-Government, how to schedule appointments via MHRS, and how to access health information through E-Nabız. Consequently, they understand the benefits and significance of using these services. The training raises awareness among individuals aged 65 and above regarding internet security and personal data privacy. It covers topics such as secure usage of applications, password management, precautions against internet threats like phishing, and how to protect personal information. The training introduces support and assistance channels to help elderly users overcome problems they may encounter while using these applications. Users learn where to seek help in case of technical issues or when they need further information.
